Medical Camp For Police Personnel Organised by B-Force & Ramnad District Police

On 20.07.08 a Medical camp was organised for all the district police personnel and their family members at Ramnad.The camp was inaugurated by Tr.S.S Krishnamoorthy IPS, DIG(I/c) Ramnad Range. The camp was the first of the series of medical camps that are to be conducted across the state for police personnel by B-Force, a NGO based at Chennai.

The camp was held at Ramnad AR premises. Five doctors from various specialities (including 2 Gynaecologists) examined around 480 persons. Drugs were supplied free of cost to the patients and facilities like the ECG were also provided. The organisers agreed to sponsor the surgical costs for 2 patients who were diagnosed to have a problem which warranted surgical treatment. B-Force also offered to be a catalyst in providing job opportunites to the wards of the police personnel.
