Quota |
Existing 10% quota shall
continue. If it is not possible to fill up the Sports quota of 10%,
the gap be filled up by the dependents of serving Police Personnel.
This norm is also applicable to the dependent of serving Prison
Personnel in the case of selection of Jail Warders. |

i) 10% quota under direct
recruitment for dependents of the serving police personnel and the

ministerial staff.
ii) 10% quota under direct recruitment of Jail
Warders for dependents of the serving prison personnel and the
wards/ dependents of retired, deceased and medically invalidated
prison personnel and 10% out of 10% for the dependents of
ministerial staff of prison dependent. (G.O.Ms.No.362, Home
(Prison.II) Department dated 25.04.2003). |

2. Ex-servicemen served as Drivers,
Auto-mechanic, Auto-electricians and Armourers are exempted from

post of Gr.II. Police Constables/ Jail Warders.
